FAQs

Q?

DO YOU HAVE SPECIFIC RULES AND REGULATIONS?

A.

Yes, we do. Click HERE to view and download a printable version.

Q?

IS THERE RELIABLE WI-FI ACCESS?

A.

Yes! Wi-fi is free and you will be provided the password at check-in.

Q?

WHERE CAN I FILL UP MY RENTAL CAR WITH GAS ON THE WAY BACK TO THE AIRPORT?

A.

The closest gas station to the airport off I-80 is at the Redwood Rd exit #118. It is the last exit before the airport. Turn right off the exit and there is a LOVE’s station/Arby’s on the left side of Redwood Rd.

Q?

IF I RENT A CAR, WHERE DO I PARK?

A.

Our free overnight parking is in the garage underneath The Lowell. Park only in the green-signed spaces labeled for Resort Plaza and display the pass provided to you at check-in. Only guest vehicles which are extra large (taller than 6’ or longer than 18’) are permitted to park on the first parking level (SL-1).  All other guest vehicles must use the car elevator to access SL-2 and SL-3 for parking. There is very limited parking on SL-1, which is first-come, first-serve, so we recommend renting no larger than an intermediate size SUV so that you will have access to two levels of parking.  Note: Vehicles taller than 6’11” will not fit in the garage and may have to park elsewhere at your own expense. Do not park overnight in the surface lots across from the resort as they tow overnight (even in the off-season.)

Q?

CAN I STORE LUGGAGE SOMEWHERE IF I NEED TO CHECK OUT BUT WISH TO STAY AND SKI OR IF I ARRIVE BEFORE THE CONDO IS READY?

A.

Let us know you would like a place to store your luggage upon early arrival or after check-out and we will arrange to obtain a luggage storage room keycode for you to the shared locked luggage room which is only for Resort Plaza Condos owners and guests.

Q?

WHERE CAN I GET GROCERIES?

A.

Market Fresh and Walgreens Pharmacy are located on the right/east side of Park Ave (Rt 224) north of Deer Valley Dr/Empire Ave if you are traveling from the condo. You can easily take a bus there. There is also a small convenience market in the Plaza at the corner of the ice rink called “Food For Thought.” There is a liquor store on Swede Alley, one on Snow Creek Drive near Kearns Ave. and one at Kimball Junction near the I-80 interchange on Ute Ave. Another grocery store, The Market, is located on Snow Creek Drive behind the liquor store in the shopping plaza, if you have a car or take a taxi or Uber. Instacart also delivers to the complex.

Q?

DO I NEED A CAR IN PARK CITY?

A.

Not at all! In fact if you do rent a car, it will probably sit in our parking garage most of the trip unless you use it to go to the grocery. Park City buses are free and easy to ride! We encourage you to use them, especially during ski season when Main Street parking can be very crowded. You will see where the bus stops from our family room balcony. Just walk down the steps and wait by the signs. The buses run until 2am during ski season. There are also local taxis 435-649-TAXI and Uber or Lyft in town. Tell them to pick you up at the Resort Plaza Check-In Area.

Q?

WHERE IS THE POOL AND HOT TUB LOCATED?

A.

The indoor/outdoor pool, hot tubs and fitness center are located inside The Lodge at Mountain Village across the lower plaza. Walk out the elevator side of our building, down the steps and walk around to the opposite side of the ice rink and enter under the sign that says ‘All Seasons Check-In’. Walk into the Lodge straight back.  No need to stop at that check-in office.  Towels are no longer provided at the pool, so you will need to take a towel from the condo as well as the keycode from your packet. Please be sure to bring the towel back to the condo.

Q?

DO I NEED TO BRING MY OWN SHEETS?

A.

No, full bed linens and towels are provided, as well as extra blankets and pillows in the closet.

Q?

WHAT IS STOCKED IN THE KITCHEN AND BATHROOMS?

A.

Our kitchen is stocked with dish towels and oven mitts, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, garbage bags, replacement light bulbs, a scrubber pad, and cleaners. The bathrooms contain 4 full sets of towels, toilet paper rolls, and complimentary sized shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. We also start each season with a good supply of laundry detergent and dryer sheets, aluminum foil, & plastic wrap, so check this before you buy. There are also a variety of spices, and usually coffee filters and sweeteners. We do ask that you empty the refrigerator upon departure, and dispose of perishable and opened items, so the next guests have room for their items!

Q?

DO YOU HAVE A CROCKPOT?

A.

Yes, the condo is fully equipped with everything you need to cook great meals, from crockpots, blenders, coffee bean grinders and waffle irons to cookie sheets, coffee makers, toasters, and mixing bowls and utensils.

Q?

ARE THERE RENTAL SHOPS NEARBY?

A.

Yes, we are surrounded by ski and snowboard rental shops, as well as bike rentals in summer. They are just steps from the condo. Two of the shops are in our building and you can receive a discount booking in advance or by using discount cards available at our check-in office. We have ski/snowboard racks in the condo, so your gear is ready when you are.

Q?

HOW MANY PEOPLE DOES THE CONDO SLEEP?

A.

The condo sleeps up to 6.  It has a king bed in the Main bedroom, two queens in the 2nd bedroom, a queen sleeper sofa in the family room and an inflatable twin mattress for additional flexibility in sleeping.

Q?

HOW FAR IS THE CONDO FROM MAIN STREET?

A.

Main Street is 6 blocks away. You can walk, or take the free shuttle buses that stop in front of the resort every 10 minutes (or less) during ski season.

Q?

HOW FAR IS THE CONDO FROM THE LIFTS?

A.

The condo is about 50 steps away from Payday lift and the other lifts at the base of Park City Mountain (Crescent, Eagle, First Timer, and Three Kings lift are almost as close.) You can’t get any closer. Walk out our door and you are on the snow in less than 2 minutes!
