FAQs

Q?

Do you have specific rules and regulations?

A.

Yes, we do. Click HERE to view and download a printable version.

Q?

Is there reliable wi-fi access?

A.

Yes! Wi-fi is free and you will be provided the password at check-in. If you need access to a computer and printer, or would like to print your boarding passes, there is a small computer room with printer on the first floor of our building. You may borrow the key to gain access to this room from the Check-In Office.

Q?

Where can I fill up my rental car with gas on the way back to the airport?

A.

The closest gas station to the airport off I-80 is at the Redwood Rd exit #118. It is the last exit before the airport. Turn right off the exit and there is a LOVE’s station/Arby’s on the left side of Redwood Rd.

Q?

If I rent a car, where do I park?

A.

Our free overnight parking is in the garage underneath The Lowell. Display the pass provided to you at check-in. Unless you have an extra large SUV that will not fit in the car elevator and you have permission from the Office, you should park on SL-2 or SL-3 (not on the first level, SL-1.) Do not park overnight in the surface lots across from the resort as they tow overnight (even in the off-season.)

Q?

Can I store luggage somewhere if I need to check out but wish to stay and ski or if I arrive before the condo is ready?

A.

Absolutely! During the ski season, the Resort Plaza Check-in office will hold your baggage for you at the office while you are out skiing, shopping or exploring.

Q?

Where can I get groceries?

A.

Market Fresh and Rite Aid Pharmacy are located on the right/east side of Park Ave (Rt 224) north of Deer Valley Dr/Empire Ave if you are traveling from the condo. You can easily take a bus there. There is also a small convenience market in the Plaza at the corner of the ice rink called “Food For Thought.” There is a liquor store on Main Street, one on Snow Creek Drive near Kearns Ave. and one at Kimball Junction near the I-80 interchange on Ute Ave. Another grocery store, The Market, is located on Snow Creek Drive behind the liquor store in the shopping plaza, if you have a car or take a taxi.

Q?

Do I need a car in Park City?

A.

Not at all! In fact if you do rent a car, it will probably sit in our parking garage most of the trip unless you use it to go to the grocery. Park City buses are free and easy to ride! We encourage you to use them, especially during ski season when Main Street parking can be very crowded. You will see where the bus stops from our family room balcony. Just walk down the steps and wait by the signs. The buses run until 2am during ski season. There are also local taxis 435-649-TAXI that you can call. Tell them to pick you up at the Resort Plaza Check-In Office.

Q?

Where is the pool and hot tub located?

A.

Our heated pool/hot tub/fitness center is at The Lowell. Exit our building on the Upper Plaza (mountain) side and walk into The Lowell (next door) through the sliding doors adjacent to Park City Rentals. Entrance to the pool and hot tub is by keycard and through the fitness center which will be on your left in the first floor hallway. Towels are provided and there are showers and lockers. Please do not remove towels from the condo.

Q?

Do I need to bring my own sheets?

A.

No, full bed linens and towels are provided, as well as extra blankets and pillows in the closet.

Q?

What is stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms?

A.

Our kitchen is stocked with dish towels and oven mitts, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, garbage bags, replacement light bulbs, a scrubber pad, and cleaners. The bathrooms contain 5 full sets of towels, toilet paper (I removed the # of rolls because that is inconsistent…sometimes it is only 2 or 3) rolls, and complimentary sized shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. We also start each season with a good supply of laundry detergent and dryer sheets, aluminum foil, & plastic wrap, so check this before you buy. There are also a variety of spices, and usually coffee filters and sweeteners. We do ask that you empty the refrigerator upon departure, and dispose of perishable and opened items, so the next guests have room for their items!

Q?

Do you have a crockpot?

A.

Yes, each condo is fully equipped with everything you need to cook great meals, from crockpots, blenders, coffee bean grinders and waffle irons to cookie sheets, coffee makers, toasters, and mixing bowls and utensils.

Q?

Are there rental shops nearby?

A.

Yes, we are surrounded by ski and snowboard rental shops, as well as bike rentals in summer. They are just steps from the condo. Two of the shops are in our building and you can receive a discount booking in advance or by using discount cards available at our check-in office. We have ski/snowboard racks in each condo, so your gear is ready when you are.

Q?

How many people does the condo sleep?

A.

Our two bedroom, two bath condo sleeps 6-8 people. It has a king bed, two queen beds, a sofa sleeper, and two twin air mattresses with bedding. Our one bedroom, one bath condo sleeps 4-5 people. It has a king bed, a queen Murphy bed (regular mattress, pulls down easily from the wall), and a twin air mattress with bedding.

Q?

How far are the condos from Main Street?

A.

Main Street is 6 blocks away. You can walk, or take the free shuttle buses that stop in front of the resort every 10 minutes (or less) during ski season.

Q?

How far are the condos from the lifts?

A.

Our condos are about 50 steps away from Payday lift and the other lifts at the base of Park City Mountain (Crescent, Eagle, First Timer, and Three Kings lift are almost as close.) You can’t get any closer. Walk out our door and you are on the snow in less than 5 minutes!
